The Spooky Sentences Kit, from Lil' Reading Scientists TM, is a great way to introduce the concept of sentences to beginning readers and writers.

Students use the Halloween themed individual word cards to make simple sentences. Included in this Kit are decodable word cards for all 5 short vowels, and sight word cards (152 cards total).

Students can make sentences by choosing the individual word cards and putting them in grammatical order. Students can also make silly sentences, such as "The cat is red", and questions, such as "Is the cat black?". Then students can write their sentence, for spelling and writing practice.

Teachers simply cut the word cards apart (and laminate if desired). This Kit is perfect for reading centers, morning work, and early finishers.

The Lil' Reading Scientists Literacy Solutions TM curriculum is based on the principles of The Orton Gillingham Approach!
