Ten Frames for Halloween! Counting and adding while becoming more familiar with ten frames is fun with Halloween Jack-o-lanterns!
Clip cards are great for independent practice. Children will determine the answer, attach a clothespin or clip to the numeral, and flip the card to check their work.
Use this activity for independent practice in centers, small group time, individualized work baskets/bags, or to take home for additional practice.
Adhere included answers to back of cards for self-correction, or mark the back of cards (behind the correct answer) with stickers of your choosing for self-correction.
The use of clothespins or clips help strengthen the pincer grasp, but dry-erase markers, counters, or seasonal items could be used to mark answer instead.
