Think you know your Halloween trivia? How about your students? Check this out. Your students will love this Halloween trivia game. Students answer multiple choice questions about Halloween. Questions start out easy, then get progressively more difficult. Plays a bit like "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." Life lines for each slide (50/50, phone a friend & poll audience).
Wrong answers light up in red. Correct answers light up in green. Once a correct answer lights up, additional information pops into the screen. Each slide is meant to entertain and educate. Whoever thought the history of Halloween would be all that important? This presentations contains historical information on traditions, origins of the holiday & superstitions & how characters came into Halloween lore. My favorite bit of information is about "Stingy Jack" & Jack-o-lanterns & how hallucinogenic potions (witch's brew) changed everything during the middle ages and witch hunts. Find out what Zeus & werewolves have to do with each other. So much information. I can't list it all.
Slides are animated and linked with spooky characters on each slide. Each slide has it's own Halloween themed music. Characters animate once you click on their spot. This game is just lots of fun. I loved putting this together and have learned so much. I hope you like it.
