This is a 'Lift the Flap' type of book with a Halloween theme. Assemble the book before the student looks at/reads it. I used rectangular pieces (about a flashcard size) of paper (orange or black to make it fun), then I put a strip of tape along the top of the rectangle. This secures the 'flap' in place and allows the child/student to guess before lifting the flap.
I added a coloring activity and a game at the end. The game is similar to the book. I included cards with several clues to guess the item, plus some fun cards (put 2 back, go again, etc).
--Listening to clues
--Answering questions (think of and ask your child questions as you go through the book, including more difficult questions such as: Why can't it be ______?)
