This packet includes 4 pages of Halloween word problems. Each page has three word problems, with boxes large enough for students to show their work. Students are to read each problem, decide to multiply or divide, then show how they find the answer. The multiplication and division are basic facts (no double digit multiplying).
Example: There were 21 mini pumpkins that were going to be split between seven students. How many pumpkins will each student receive? Draw a model.
John wanted to make cookies for himself and five friends. If he wanted everyone (including himself) to receive four cookies each, how many cookies does he have to bake? Show your work.
