Halloween Picture and Word Cards: These cards can be cut apart and stored in a bag or container. Students choose 10 cards without looking, and then alphabetize. OR The picture cards can be used for story starters, writing ideas, or word wall activities.
Candy Corn Shades of Meaning: This set of cards should be cut on the dotted line. Students put the puzzles together, using the meanings of the words as clues. When the puzzles are completed, students can record their work on the candy corn page. Then, they can choose their favorite combination to use in their writing.
