This a Free Sample of Writing Templates - Narratives, Opinion, Recounts and Sequencing Pack BUT with a fun Halloween Theme.

Simple Writing Templates for Kindergarten and Year 1. It includes write a sentence about a Bat, dressing up. A narrative template, 2 x Opinion writing templates, a recount of Halloween, sequencing eating a cookie.

Narrative Writing - 20 different themes in each template the characters and setting are given, I really push the idea of including adjectives e.g. the friendly, brave and tall astronaut, the silvery, shining moon. They then add the what happens in sequential order followed by the ending.
Plus A Narrative Writing Chart and A Time Word list Chart

Opinion Writing - 16 different scenarios This template gives the chn. a scenario, they make their choice ie. In my opinion… worksheets are set out step 1. Decide 2. Illustrate your thoughts 3. The because - the why, chn. explain their reasons for their opinion.
I have also included a chart a How to Write an Opinion.

Recount Writing - this template includes the introduction e.g. who what where and when. Step 2. The what happened in sequential order, I have included 2 versions. 3 ideas - First, then, Finally or 4 ideas - First, Then, Next, Finally (just a little bit more challenging) The template ends with a personal comment/how I felt.
There are 5 Recount ideas and a blank template.
Plus a flow chart How to Write a Recount.

Sequencing - There are 13 different sequencing worksheets.
Each template has a cut and paste the pictures to show the sequence and then write a sentence about each picture. Start each sentence with the words First, Next,
