Product Description
This is a hundred-word crossword puzzle is taken from my commentary on Hamlet and is intended as a review after the play has been studied and analyzed in class. An answer sheet is included as well as a "help" sheet where students can match the answer to the clue. Also included are some conventions that are necessary for an understanding of the play: the convention of the four humours and the convention of the Machiavel. Two critical interpretations are also included: T. S. Eliot's theory of the objective correlative that leads him to conclude that Hamlet's antic disposition is a "little less than real, a little more than feigned," and Ernest Jones' theory of the Oedipus complex. Tks, Mike Cummings
