This assessment can be used while reading and discussing Act 1. My students often have issues with memorizing the characters, so I created this assessment that I use REPEATEDLY until each student scores 100%. I also use the questions on the assessment as tickets in and tickets out to assess comprehension. The assessment contains 15 questions and a bonus question. There are two pages - the first is the test for the students and the second is the key for the instructor.
Since this is Shakespeare's longest play, there are so many different activities that can be used to teach the unit. Although they complain during the first few scenes, my students ultimately love the text.
