This activity was created using Microsoft Word 2007. Students are provided with four choices in this Creative Activity for Act 2 of Hamlet. Each prompt requires them to assume a different persona to discuss an important aspect of Act 2. To discuss Hamlet’s “antic disposition” students are to take the perspective of a Danish detective named Dagny Rasmussen, resident of Svenborg and write an investigative report about Hamlet’s mental condition following the death of his father. Other topics include the similar plots of using indirection to find direction out, the theme of appearance vs. reality, and Fortinbras as a foil to Hamlet. Each scenario includes “characters” with Danish names from Danish locations and other details. Clear font and relevant graphics. Very fun to write and very fun to read! Thank you for your consideration.
