If you’d like an awesome kit for Hamlet, then you’ve come to the right place!
Creating “foundational” content can be very time-consuming, and this package alleviates that problem. Additionally, if you want fresh insights to the text that will really connect with students, then you’ll love this kit. (On a side note: If you’re stuck on debating whether Hamlet and Ophelia had a sexual relationship instead of whether or not she was PREGNANT, then you need to place your order NOW.) ;)
Here’s what’s included in this package:
-Hamlet Acts I – V Powerpoints (.ppt). These are perfect for adding depth and creating discussion after reading and annotating. You should use these with the included Marzano note-taking template.
-Marzano Note-Taking Template (PDF). This is a blank Cornell-type organizer to use with the powerpoints. This forces the students to summarize the material and make it their own. (Topics go on the left-hand side. Notes go on the right.)
-Hamlet Acts I – V Quizzes (.doc). Five quizzes, based on reading, NOTES, and DISCUSSION. (There’s a written response for each quiz, too.)
-Hamlet Multiple Choice Test (.doc). 60 questions; all multiple choice. (No answer key provided; I didn’t want to upload the scantron, haha.)
-Hamlet Essay Project (.doc). Instructions with lots of prompt choices, a rubric, etc.
-Leo Multi-Paragraph Graphic Organizer (PDF). Graphic organizer to use with the essay.
-Hamlet Extra Credit Opportunities (.doc). These are various different project ideas you can take and develop….
