For those of you who teach IB English, you know that the Individual Oral Commentary is a key component to the course. Even though the English:Literature HL requires poetry for the actual IOC, passages from other texts is a necessity when preparing.
There are 11 passages from Shakespeare's _Hamlet_. Each passage is about 40 lines or less and is accompanied by two guiding questions, required for the IB class.
Because this a word file, it is easy to adjust the guiding questions, delete the act and scene number (if you want the students to figure out the context themselves), and number the lines.
If you don't teach IB English, these passages are still helpful in close reading if your students are studying Hamlet.
