This power point is really a culmination of a couple of days activities. It is designed to generate paragraphs and ideas for studying the character of Hamlet after reading Act I. Students will have read Act I and will be able to find concrete details from the text to help support their description of Hamlet. It breaks the steps down for my struggling writers who have problems formulating their ideas into cohesive paragraphs. It includes six slides. I found it beneficial to students to discuss the character's personality traits and then provide the adjective slide. I let them find the quotes to support the character trait together and then have them individually write the paragraph.
