Product Description
This assignment requires students to re-write Hamlet's "To be or not to be" soliloquy from the perspective of a well known public figure. They must demonstrate complete understanding of the soliloquy through their interpretation. Students must also provide an analysis of their version, connecting it directly to the original. I used this with my AP and standard English 12 classes with great success. One of my favorites last year had Justin Timberlake agonizing over whether or not he should bring sexy back. A really, fun assessment piece!
