You or your students can make great little hand puppets from single sheets of paper. Just fold according to directions, squeeze, and insert your fingers in the pockets that appear. This packet shows you how!
• full six-step instructions - great sequencing practice!
• a blank puppet pattern with folding guidelines
• a black-and-white puppet pattern with face to color or decorate
• eight full-color puppet patterns with faces, to quickly fold and use
Color and draw features on a blank puppet to indicate age, hair color, eye color, and ethnicity. Use yarn, felt scraps, paper scraps, jewelry wire, or other materials to add three-dimensional elements. Make princesses and kings, monsters and ogres, teachers and students, neighbors and friends, Bible characters and book characters—the possibilities are endless!
Use for story presentation, dramatic play, or craft project. Older students will enjoy creating puppets and writing plays to present to younger classes or to record. Great fun!
