I created this game as a "Free Day" activity for my students. In iconic notation for handbells. Students are assigned a color and we work together as a class to play the song on the page. They have to try to guess the song they are playing. You can have students work as a class or put the students in teams.
There are two types of icons used: Just with colors or Colors and the note letters.
This file includes directions, explanation of the icons that are used, and an answer key so you know the songs.
Most songs use quarter notes, barred eighth notes (represented by smaller handbells) and quarter rests. There are 2 songs that use half notes that are represented by a handbell with an arrow.
Songs included are: Hot Cross Buns, Are You Sleeping?, Mary Had a Little Lamb, London Bridge, Twinkle, Twinkle, Jingle Bells, Ode to Joy, It's Raining (half notes), Old MacDonald (half notes)
