This handout is ideal for supplementing classroom learning and/or replacing unsatisfactory textbook explanations.
The handout breaks down how to use an IOP and a DOP in the same sentence, both when working with a single verb and with two verbs (conjugated verb and the infinitive or a present participle).
My approach emphasizes basic grammatical concepts that are universal to general language learning, and asks students to recognize similarities between English and Spanish. I try to demystify "complicated" Spanish grammar concepts by connecting them to their English language counterparts.
My detailed breakdown of DOPs and IOPs has worked well with students of all levels and abilities, but I would be happy to send a word doc. version of this product to any buyer who would like to augment it for different levels.
