What educators are saying

This is a fabulous product that really breaks down comprehension skills so you can focus on each one. Love this! Students love how engaging and fun! They look forward to these activities.

This hands on approach to teaching reading comprehension includes 33 original reading passages and interactive graphic organizers for each passage. These fiction reading passages can be read to younger students to work on listening comprehension or more advanced readers can read the passages independently.
This packet covers 12 fiction comprehension skills including:
Beginning, Middle, and End
Character Feelings
Compare and Contrast
Reality or Fantasy
Character Traits
Story Structure
Cause and Effect
Sequence of Events

These are perfect for creating interactive notebooks with your students. Copy the passage and have students glue onto the left side of the notebook. Then, the interactive graphic organizer can be completed and glued into the right side of the notebook. The students will have access to the reading passage where they can go back and highlight evidence in the text for completing their organizer.

Download the preview file to see the Table of Contents as well as examples of the passages and organizers.
