Product Description
With this fun, hands-on problem about a sheep named Eric who sneaks up in line while waiting to be shorn, students are able to analyze patterns and ultimately arrive at an equation or rule. Small groups of students are provided with a sheep "Eric" and tiles (or other manipulatives) in order to predict and act out the problem while also being able to discuss. The worksheet provides prediction questions, guiding questions, and extension questions and a great way to practice communicating in mathematics.
