• Students will work in partner pairs.
• Each partner pair will receive a set of three header cards: “oo” “_ue” and “u.”
• Partner pairs will also receive a set of mixed word cards that contain words with long /oo/ spelled oo, _ue, and u.
• Together students will decode and sort their words under the appropriate header.
• Teacher will facilitate with partner pairs.
• Responses will be checked whole group.
