Do your students struggle with fine motor skills as much as mine do?! This pack (one of seven fine motor/handwriting/beginning letter id packs) was created to engage students in a hands-on approach to handwriting while allowing them the opportunity to practice their fine motor skills and letter identification.
With this pack, students will use a bingo dauber to ‘dab’ the focus letter. Students will, first, use a dauber to dab the dots within each of the letters making sure to do so in the correct letter formation. Next, students will practice their handwriting of the letter by tracing the letter already printed on the line. As my students are doing this, I have them practice saying the letter name and sound out loud to themselves or to a partner. Last, they will practice writing the focus letter on their own using their best handwriting.
This resource combines three skills in one simple task that can be used for early finishers, whole group and small groups as well as RTI!
Check out my bundle which includes all 7 fine motor/handwriting resources and an added bonus...exit slips!
