Handwriting Games for St Patricks Day for Grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 is an exciting way to combine teaching handwriting and celebrating St Patricks Day (17th March).
Handwriting doesn't have to be boring! It is possible to improve handwriting by playing games. As a children's occupational therapist I often use visual perceptual games of spot the difference, matching, finding the shapes hidden within a picture to help children develop these essential visual skills. Without this ability noticing the differences between the letters 't' and 'l' or placing spaces between words becomes more difficult.
This is a 'done for you' pack. There are 10 different images, each one improves a different aspect of handwriting. They will take a maximum of 5 minutes to do.
Be inspired with these St Patricks Day worksheets. You will find one activity on each of the following:
◾Spot 5 differences
◾Odd one out
◾Notice the shapes
◾Connect the dots
◾Connect the lines
◾Find the letters
◾Look, remember and say X 2
All guidance notes are provided.
Just print out and use.
Suitable to whole class, small groups and 1 to 1 sessions.
