This complete set of handwriting worksheets provides practice with proper letter formation, hearing the sound of the letters at the beginning of words, and writing words. At the top of the page, students draw pictures of things that begin with the letter sound and label their pictures. You can have students sound out the words and represent the sounds they hear or brainstorm words to make a list they can use. I have also had students use classroom dictionaries to find words. The arrows on the font remind students how to correctly write the letters. There is plenty of room for students to practice writing the letters on their own. This is a great independent activity to help kiddos improve their handwriting.
