Handwriting House is a simple graphic that helps young writers learn about correct letter placement on the handwriting paper lines. We are using a program at our school that goes from green to red (go to stop), so this paper was created to support our learners. I hope it will help your students as well. The handwriting house is often used with Orton-Gillingham methodology and programs that are OG based.
The House Rules poster is included to remind students that:
All letters live in the house.
All uppercase letters start in the attic.
Some lowercase letters go down into the basement or into the attic, but they never do both.
