This paper uses the letter writing house to help new writers practice their handwriting - especially those tricky letters that go in the basement! This is a one-page PDF with an instructional section at the top. The letter writing house has a roof (some letters go up to the top of the roof), main floor (all the letters live in the house), and basement (some letters go down to the basement). Below the instructional area are six lines to practice handwriting. Each line begins with a picture of the letter writing house. The remainder of the line is blank for handwriting practice. Each line is 3/4" high with a dotted / dashed line in the center. There is a spot for students to write their names at the top of the paper.
