Use this journal to help enhance handwriting skills in your classroom along with beginning sounds in words.
Children will trace each letter, write the letter, and then draw pictures of things that begin with that letter.
This journal can be used for differentiated instruction by allowing low level students extra practice on their handwriting skills, on-level students handwriting practice and beginning sound recognition, and above level students a chance to sound out words, spell the words by labeling their pictures.
