These worksheets focus on lower case letter formation, letter ID, letter/sound knowledge and lower case letter handwriting practice. The worksheets have a clean look to them and are all similar in layout (which really helps little learners to complete them with more independence).

y formed like a v with an extended right side
I am an experienced teacher, with a preference for teaching Kindergarten students… I use these sheets to support students’ differentiated learning needs by giving individual kids the letter that they currently need to learn/or are forming incorrectly.
In saying that, these worksheets are also appropriate for practice in class, as a center activity, a follow up to the letter of the week, a homework sheet or for parents who are wanting to give their preschoolers (4 years & up) or new-to-school kids support with learning their letters & correct letter formation.
