WHAT IS INCLUDED

---------------------------------

★Pre and Post Assessments

Chart student growth! Included are forms for both lowercase and uppercase letters.

★Colorful Posters

A great, easy visual reminder for students to refer to while learning about the different ways to form/write the letters in our alphabet.

★Pre-Teaching Activities

These printables teach students about the different lines and curves in letters and the correct way to form them. I use these activities right before I teach a new "set" of letters. This helps students train their brain and hand muscles before we work with specific letters. You can also laminate these and add them to a center for repeated practice or for struggling students.

★Handwriting Worksheets

Two versions for every single uppercase and lowercase letter! One version has STARS that show students where to START the letter. I usually begin with these to provide scaffolding. Then later the same day (or the next day) I give them the exact same page but the one without stars. This builds students confidence and they appreciate this routine.

★Outline of Lessons

I provide the grouping of letters, as well as the order I teach the letters in. Every page has a lesson number and you can choose to follow this sequence or create your own! I sequence the letters very specifically based on how each letter is formed. This helps students see the patterns in letters and make connections.
