These number stories were created by Handwriting Without Tears. I added them to half-page sheets and included a large number big enough for tracing.
A grey box around each letter helps to show the appropriate starting corner. Those who are familiar with the grey boxes through HWT will find this helpful! Each letter also includes the starting point "smiley face".
Use these as a helpful reference for number formation, and to put in dry erase pockets for students to practice reading the stories and tracing on their own!
This product includes numbers 1-10. If you use Handwriting Without Tears, you know that there are very specific number formations (especially for the letters 2, 4, and 6!)
You'll be happy to see that these posters use the special formation that HWT does!
