These packs integrate both handwriting and writing across the genres. They are meant to take beginners from basic handwriting practice to mastery of narratives, informational/explanatory, and opinion piece writings at a Kindergarten level.

This writing series is made with the Kindergarten Common Core Standards in mind.

400+ pages for the whole school year!

Each pack is intended to be used throughout a period of one month. {Daily letter, word, and sentence practice and additional writing activities. Also includes number and number word writing}
I encourage you to use it in a timing that best meets the needs of your learners!

Pack 1 includes 5 BONUS letter writing pages. (This is because my school starts at the end of August, and I wanted pages to cover on those extra days in August, while also having enough for September too!)
Below is an example layout of what is included in each pack. They do range in activities as they increase in difficulty, but the layout is similar throughout each:

Let’s Begin! -
Capital Letters: (Created in the order of the Handwriting Without Tears writing curriculum. If you are using this curriculum, you may want to create the “dots” on your master copy before running off student copies.) There are five “weeks” worth of letter practice sheets included in this pack. While you can certainly use it however you’d like, it was created with the intentions of practicing 3 letters and 2 reviews each week.

Week 1 – F, E, D Week 2 – P, B, R
Week 3 – N, M, H Week 4 – K, L, U
Week 5 – V, W, X

In Addition!
Numbers: Number writing practice sheets are included. This pack includes numbers 0-5.

Label It!: 5 labeling practice sheets give students a chance to show what they know about describing pictures through arrows and words.

Narrative: All About Me
-A beginning narrative project in which students retell their life so far and practice labeling their pictures.

Opinion: What Book Should I Read?
-Students recommend a book they’ve read and enjoyed, using
labels to express their preferences and opinions

Explanatory: Generic sheets to be used with any topic
