This pack was intended to be used throughout a period of one month
and is a continuation of pack 2. {Daily letter practice and additional
writing activities} I encourage you to use it in a timing that best meets
the needs of your learners!

Let’s Begin!
Lowercase Letters: (Created in the order of the Handwriting Without Tears writing curriculum. If you are using this curriculum, you may want to create the “dots” on your master copy before running off student copies.) There are four “weeks” worth of letter practice sheets included in this pack. While you can certainly use it however you’d like, it was created with the intentions of practicing 3 letters and 2 reviews each week.

Week 1 – c,o,s Week 2 – v,w,t
Week 3 – a,d,g Week 4 – u, I, e

In Addition!
Numbers: Number writing practice sheets are included. This pack includes two review sheets of numbers 0-10.

Label It!: 5 labeling practice sheets give students a chance to show what they know about describing pictures through arrows and words.

Narrative: A Thankful Time
-A beginning narrative project in which students retell about the best
trip they’ve ever taken, while practicing labeling and word writing.
Opinion: What Ice Cream flavor is best?
-Students recommend a flavor, describing why it is best, and using
labels and words to express their preferences and opinions
Explanatory: Generic sheets to be used with any topic - new clipart

Literacy:
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.K.1a Print many upper- and lowercase letters.
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.1 Demonstrate understanding of the organization and basic features of print.
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.1b Recognize that spoken words are represented in written language by specific sequences of letters.
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.1c Understand that words are separated by spaces in print.

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.1d Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet.

Writing:

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.K.3 Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to narrate a single event or several loosely linked events, tell about the events in the order in which they occurred, and provide a reaction to what happened.
