Do your little sweeties struggle with fine motor skills as much as mine do?! This pack (the third of six fine motor/handwriting/beginning letter id packs) was created to engage students in a hands-on approach to handwriting while allowing them the opportunity to practice their fine motor skills and letter identification.
With this pack, students will use a q-tip (super fun…right?!) to paint the focus letter. Students will, first, use a q-tip to paint the dots within each of the letters making sure to do so in the correct letter formation. Next, students will practice their handwriting of the letter by tracing the letter already printed on the line. As my students are doing this, I have them practice saying the letter name and sound out loud to themselves or to a partner.
This resource combines three skills in one simple task that can be used for early finishers, whole group and small groups as well as RTI!
(Both capital and lowercase letters are included)
If you love this resource, be sure to check out the growing bundle which will include all 6 handwriting/fine motor packs plus a bonus!
