Happy spring! Your garden is full of bugs and flowers, but have you seen the gnomes? Play this quick and easy spring speech therapy game with your students to focus on production of multisyllabic words.
The gnomes have their arms full of a TON of multisyllabic words. Help the gnomes find their way home with as many big words as you can.
To play as a game: Give each student a gnome home to use to collect their cards. Place special cards and all gnome cards in a pile in the center of the table. Have each student draw a card and practice the multisyllabic word. If special cards are drawn, follow the directions. The student with the most gnomes at home at the end of the game wins. Use the syllable sorting mat as needed. Use the black and white sheets for homework.
Print and laminate all cards. Included: 5 Gnome Homes, 76 multisyllabic gnome cards, 8 special cards, syllable sorting map, 2 homework sheets, multisyllabic word list.
