Have your students learn or review the key details (aligned with common core standards) from this classic tale, Hansel and Gretel with this fun folder game (a version for Smartboard also included) . Students travel around the "game board" and answer questions regarding details (who, what, where, when, why, how) that are printed on the "Take n' Bake" task cards.Note: this is for the classic story version - NOT
the opera version.
Game instructions, task cards (40 plus 2 blank pages for you to add your own questions), tokens (gumdrops and gingerbread people), spinners and dice are included for you to make this game complete. Attach a brad to the arrow to create a spinner or use a paper clip and pencil. The dice only require tape or glue. You could also use mini erasers for the students to use as tokens and store bought dice (these are not included) if you choose.
This game set includes a color board, cards tokens and spinner as well as a black and white version. The game cards come in multiple choice answers and no choices given (for higher levels) forms.
The preview is blurry but the game boards and pieces are not....
Print these out on card stock and laminate and cut them out to make the game last.
This makes a great activity for a workstation or center! You can also use the Smart Notebook version (included) to review as a class (in teams) or for your younger ones who might find reading the cards a little challenging.
