Revised 2012 to include the same text with choice of 2 different menorahs (one may be easier for little hands to add color.) See free download to view the entire file.
This mini booklet is just right to introduce your little ones to Hanukkah and the lighting of the menorah. Children can color the candle holder for page 1, the flames on page 2, and then color the candles according to the colors in the text on each page. By the time they reach the last few pages, their menorah will be complete.
2 ways to reproduce: If you use the booklet pages with 2 identical panes per sheet, reproduce the pages back to back. Then staple on the left side and cut along dotted line to make 2 copies of the book. Or to use the set with individual pages, print single sided and cut through the middle. Order the pages and staple on the left.
A little background: Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is an eight day Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple. Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days. The menorah is an eight-branched candle holder with a ninth place to hold an extra candle used to light the others.
