Product Description
Chinese New Year comes in late January or early February & children will have fun finding out what their Chinese animal is. This song is based on the Chinese Pentatonic or 5 note scale (C, D, E, G, A w/ no F or B) & this is the same scale used on many Orff instruments. You can use any keyboard, guitar, autoharp or even a toy xylophone w/ letters stamped on it. It is arranged for classroom teachers & beginning piano students who can’t read notes on a staff. It uses finger numbers for right hand notes and easy chord symbols for the left hand or guitar. Included are a diagram of the piano keys showing where the notes are and which notes to play in each chord.
Recommended for Pre-K through 5th grade.
