This resource is a simple, little booklet that explores the emotions "happy" and "sad". It can be used with very young children to introduce these concepts or with students/clients on the autism spectrum who struggle to understand different emotions. This gives them some concrete examples of why someone might feel "happy" or "sad". The teacher/SLP reads an event that occurred to "Little Bear" and the student/client needs to say how she/he thinks "Little Bear" felt, "happy" or "sad". Some tips on how to expand on the booklet are included. Prints best with the "landscape" orientation.
