It contains the following:
Pages 3-4: Vocabulary - flash cards depicting vocabulary (nouns & prepositions of location) from the book. Eleven (11) cards total.
Page 5: Black-ink only summary/sequencing page depicting all of locations in which Mouse found eggs. Use dot markers, crayons, markers, etc. to color “eggs” around the house, just like in the story. Perfect for sending home to show what you’ve done that day and encourage carryover.
Pages 6-12: Interactive Book - As you read the book, student can place eggs in the locations depicted in the story on their own book. Use hook and loop fastener to adhere eggs.
Page 13: Colored eggs to use in the interactive book. (optional)
Page 14-16: Receptive understanding of phrases with two adjectives - Students receptively identify the object based on the phrases, which contain both color and size adjectives. Student must pay attention to both concepts! (16 cards total)
Page 17: Sentence formulation - Use the sentence strips and interactive pieces to formulate sentences describing color and location.
