Each of the 9 handouts introduces kids to a happy habit in the following ways:

Caring For Feelings means accepting them ALL as important and okay.

I Care For Feelings begins with the four basics; happy, sad, scared and mad.

Eating Real Food is about having fresh fruits and veggies every day.

I Eat Real Food gets kids thinking about the real foods they like or love, so they can mindfully incorporate them into their daily lives.

Slowing Down, in its many forms, is essential to all growth - social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. When kids learn to simply rest, breathe, go with the flow and focus on being in this present moment, they can slow down enough to grow.

I Slow Down uses FOCUS to play with this habit.

Being Kind is a core teaching of every spiritual philosophy in the world. It includes caring (for yourself, others + the earth), giving, connecting, sharing and being a good friend.

I Am Kind puts the spotlight on being a GOOD FRIEND.

Trying New Things inspires kids to have a sense of wonder, take risks, make mistakes, problem solve, learn, persist, overcome and thrive!

I Try New Things uses an invention-challenge to get kids thinking outside the box.

Making Wishes includes imagining, having dreams and being hopeful.

I Make Wishes uses HOPE to ignite kids' circuitry for optimism.

Being Thankful has potent effects on our bodies and brains. Gratitude comes easily when kids learn to notice the little things everyday and everywhere.

I Am Thankful hones the senses.

Going Outside and spending time in nature is as important to kids' health and happiness as the food they eat and the air they breathe.

I Go Outside prompts kids to consider what they love about their time in nature, encouraging them to seek it OUT more often.

Having Fun includes being silly, laughing, creating, singing, dancing and moving.

I Have Fun explores creativity, song and poetry.
