These enjoyable writing prompts are designed to assist students on their narrative storytelling skills. Each prompt has a Holiday-inspired keyword infused with two completely random items that must be included within the narrative.

The organizational structure of these templates is designed to spark ideas with the three key words. Before writing any sentences on the drafts, students first draw their ideas on the provided storyboard organizer. This visual helps students see how their story progresses from introduction to conclusion with fully developed details in between. From there, students can elaborate these into a proper story.
