This lesson includes a PowerPoint presentation to frontload some information about mortgages, interest rates, and personal finance. There are discussion questions included to solicit students' prior knowledge. I left the PowerPoint and Word document in a form that can be edited in case PMI may not be a topic your students are ready to explore, or you would like to adapt some information based on your preferences. The main part of the lesson is an engaging activity where students use online resources to search for homes, and compare costs of different loan structures. During this segment of class, I find myself bouncing around the room as students come up with a variety of "What if..." questions.
