This file has 9 different short vowel game boards. There is one board for each vowel and 4 boards with the vowel missing. This is a great addition to any literacy workstation!
Make two copies of the game board and laminate each. Construct the die.
Each partner will need a game board and a dry erase marker.
Partners take turns rolling the die. If they can make a word using the letter they rolled, they write it on their game board. Play passes to next player. If the child is unable to make a word, play still passes to the next person. The first player to complete their board is the winner.
There is also a student response sheet. The student may choose 4 words from their game board, write it on the response sheet, and draw a picture of it.
