Page 1-4: Write About It
Students are asked to list activities they took part in when they were out of school, then instructions are given to create an introductory and concluding paragraph. They put this all together into an essay.
There is a rubric to assess this writing activity, if desired.
Page 5: Book, Movie, or Game review
Students think about a book they read, movie they watched, or a game they played. They write a review about the experience. These can be read aloud or otherwise shared with the class.
Page 6-7: Sentence Revision – 11 sentences
Directions: Read each sentence below. Rewrite it correctly on the line, making sure all spelling, grammar, and punctuation are correct

Page 9: Verb Tense
Directions: Read and think about each sentence. Then rewrite it on the line, making sure all of the verbs are in the past tense.
Page 10: Find a word.
Directions: How many words can you find in the phrase below? Write as many 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-letter words as you can think of that are made of the letters in this phrase.
