Penguins and polar bears- oh my! Happy Polar Subtraction is a fun way to practice differences of two numbers that are 10 and under!
Students select a card and determine the difference of the two numbers. If the difference is even, s/he moves to the next even spot. If the difference is odd, s/he moves to the next odd spot. The first person to land on the last spot wins! Watch out, though - if another player challenges your answer and you are wrong or if you choose a card and can not move, you stay where you are until your next turn.
This game is for 2 - 4 players.
- Pieces for players to move
- Game board
- 48 fact cards
NOTE: This packet includes everything in a color version and everything in a black and white version. This will allow you to print on color copy paper if you need to not use color printer ink. :)
If you like this game, you might like my other versions based on addition, multiplication, and division - they are coming later this week!
