Our school district has adopted Harcourt Storytown for our Kindergarten classrooms. For lesson 20, we have created for you a book that incorporates the sight words “we” and “want”. It is differentiated to accommodate 4 levels of readiness.
1. Children trace the sight words.
2. Children trace and write independently known and lesson sight words
3. Children trace and write independently known and lesson sight words as well as fill in beginning and ending sounds of more difficult words.
4. Children trace and write independently lesson sight words and independently phonetically spell unknown terms.
