Directions: Put the cards in a container and students close their eyes and pull a card or put the cards in a pile for the students to pick from. The student must be able to say the word or sentence correctly in order to keep the card. If they are not able to identify the word or sentence, he/she must put the card back in the container or back in the pile. After all cards are gone, the student with the most cards wins the game.
*Vocabulary game for each story in theme 2 of the Harcourt Trophies reading series. The students can play in small groups or at center time with teacher.
*In each set of cards there is two reverse and lose a turn cards. You may choose to leave these out.
