This package integrates a literature based lesson to explore hard and soft C words with an authentic opinion writing lesson. A pacing guide provides suggestions on how to present the word study and opinion writing lesson over the course of five days. Technology links are provided in the lesson plans to access an online version of the recommended story and a hard and soft “c” photographic dictionary.
