This PowerPoint presentation briefly examines the presidencies of Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge. It begins by looking at the efforts of Harding to support American business in light of reform legislation passed during the Progressive Era. It then briefly explores the Teapot Dome scandal and the corruption of the Harding Administration. Following Harding's death, it examines how Calvin Coolidge and Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon continued to support American business. It concludes with a brief discussion of German war debts and the resulting Dawes plan. This presentation is used in an A.P.
