Research the 1920s and the influential people of the Harlem Renaissance! You can use this project during Black History Month or when you study the roaring 20s. This project allows students to choose one famous person who contributed to this time in history. After researching, students create a tri-fold display and artifact for an audience. Choose to display this as a museum walk for the class or even for the whole school!
This could be used in the Language Arts classroom or in a History class.
This project can also be used in conjunction with my Harlem Renaissance Research Essay Project, which includes 3 weeks worth of lesson plan PowerPoints and handouts.
