March 10 is Harriet Tubman Day!
I created this Harriet Tubman packet to be suitable for English Language Arts lessons. I contains a biography, reading informational text questions, writing exercises, reading foundational questions, and language grammar activities. There are also informational sheets that give more information and examples about each language art concept that is addressed in the activities. Students can use these to review as they complete the exercises, or if it is the first time these concept are being introduced, you might want to use them in your introduction lesson.
This packet would be suitable for a review of common core state standards before end-of-the-year testing or it can be used to introduce the concepts for the first time to the students. If you approach it as a review there is enough work to last for an entire week, if you use it as an introductory teaching tool it should take you up to two weeks to complete.
